The Villamartin development began in 1972 and has evolved into a splendid Mediterranean village of well over 1500 apartments, townhouses and villas and is located on the Orihuela Costa and close to Torrevieja.

Villamartin is an up market area, and is in an excellent location being very near to three excellent 18 hole courses.  At its heart is the original Club de Golf Villamartin and other two new courses Las Ramblas de Orihuela and Campoamor are only a few minutes drive away along with the superb sandy beaches.

The impressive Villamartin Plaza contains over 20 restaurants varying from Italian, English, German, Spanish, Mexican, Austrian, Chinese, and French cuisine to name but a few, and these serve food both indoors and outside in the summer months in the delightful courtyard. For those not wishing to eat, there are also a number of bars within the vicinity

Close to Villamartin are numerous beaches with magnificent views over the sparkling blue Mediterranean and the “white sand” that is typical of the Costa Blanca. The beaches along the coastline close to Villamartin are Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, and Campoamor. All of these beaches and all the other major beaches along this part of the Mediterranean coastline are regularly awarded the European Blue Flag which is your guarantee of high standards and facilities for the whole family.

Other towns and villages local to Villamartin are Quesada, Rojales and Benijofar, Torrevieja and Guardarmar.
